Maybe all these world leaders will look a dollar crash in the face (and on the cover of Newsweek) and blink. Maybe they will come up with some massive intervention scheme. Why shouldn't China and Japan just continue with Treasury purchases? It's worked so far. And probably Europe will join them. So maybe all these headlines are a contrarian indicator after all. Central bankers read newspapers too. And the headlines lately have got to make them nervous.
