Re: but if we do not protect our country from nuclear destruction,

I presume this is a reference to Iran? If so, does it cross you mind that the people making you fearful of Iran's nuclear intent are the same bastards who lied to you about Iraq's WMDs (and later, when that lie was exposed, the much weaker argument about "Iraq's WMD programs"), Al Qaeda-Ba'athist collusion (preposterous on the face of it), Niger yellowcake chicanery and all the other blatant and egregious lies about the illegal and immoral invasion of Iraq?

Now Festus, didn't George Bush once attempt and totally fail to share a cliche: "fool me once, shame on...fool me twice, I won't get fooled again"...

Festus, wake up and smell the coffee, when addressing his base, "the haves and the have-mores", George Bush quipped that "you can fool some of the people all of the time and those are the ones to concentrate on." (Gridiron Club Speech, March, 2001)

Clearly, Festus, you don't want us to think of you as one of those who can be fooled all the time, now do you? :)

Your job, as a citizen, is to see through the chicanery and lies of the Mayberry Machiavellians who are running roughshod over the truth, the media and a surprisingly gullible public.
