"you chose to tirade bout hunting and animals rights, completely dismissing the loss of human life, as if they deserved that early horrible death because they hunted animals with guns"

I didn't dismiss the loss of human life. I am totally against anyone having guns (I realize this is a minority opinion in America). I think a lot of people and animals die needlessly because of guns, and this incident is a good example of that. That is what I meant by live by the gun, die by the gun.

Entire religions, past and present, have revered animal life as they do human life. I realize this is not a prevalent belief system in present-day America, but it is not just a tirade, and it has no less inherent merit than your opinion.
