I talk about how I feel about killing the ants in my house. I tell my kids I don't feel good about it, but I don't like eating ants in the cereal either. I use it as a way to talk about the difficulty of always being moral in the world- it's not easy. I also always look for better ways. My mother told me to put a drip line outside for the ants, so they won't come in for water. She did that, and she was the only person in her subdivision without an ant problem last year. So I will try it too. If it would works it would be better for me morally, AND it would make me feel better health-wise- since I don't like to use poisons. Thanks for sharing your views, btw. I appreciate it.
