'depends on the mine ' - precisely, mining can be done low-impact, when well-planned and carefully executed ... doing it better doesn't necessarily mean doing it at far higher cost, either, in many cases .... this is true of forestry as well ... lots of room for improvement in both, i think it's fair to say they have both improved in recent years, it's a given that they must continue to improve
