Thank you for the response, JC. I wish I could feel as positive as you do about the administration's policy where Iraq's concerned. I too hope that the election will proceed as planned if it's possible to do so with minimal violence and recrimination. What I worry about is the possibility of a systematic execution of an elected administration-- along the lines of the attacks against Iraqi police. (Glad to hear your girl dogs are well. I fed mine too much turkey and am dealing with the consequences. Ugh.)
