There is no exclusivity to any of us as being deserving of God's grace. A walk with God is truly a personal experience that each one of us has to work out with our own understanding of our relationship with him. I can listen patiently to those who say that Christianity is untrue and who attempt to offer similar historical happenings prior to the arrival of the Son of God. It does make a sort of sense when critics offer their "physical" proofs against the reality of Jesus Christ.

I have listened and reasoned that this "proof" seems logical until I go to God's Word for help and enlightenment. Then, as his words ring so true in my heart and make sense in a world of nonsense I am truly joyful that this real truth guides me and strengthens me in man's circus of intellectual pride.

I understand this joy to be God's Holy Spirit within me. Do you have that certainty?

James

> the "words" have also been twisted and distorted over the ages so that it is now impossible to know what was "divinely inspired" and what was not. A word is a word is a word.

No better example than this --

>>Rev. Jones sent this greeting to Bush on November 3.

God has graciously granted America-though she doesn't deserve it-a reprieve from the agenda of paganism. You have been given a mandate. We the people expect your voice to be like the clear and certain sound of a trumpet. Because you seek the Lord daily, we who know the Lord will follow that kind of voice eagerly.<<

Of course, we know this was not "divinely inspired" -- merely God's name taken in vain for whatever purposes Rev Jones has in mind.
