Contrarian view since noone lately has said anything about Crude heading back to 40 area.

Everytime I pick any periodical, or watch any news program all I ever hear is how Crude cannot return to 30 area and many say its going above 60. When everyone bets one way the market always finds a way to burn you and them. I have been amazed at how long we have been above 35, so I will stay out of the Crude argument except to say in the 70's when we had the spike during the embargo, Crude actually came down faster then it is currently.

I am getting skeptical with the recnt NG data looks like that product should be at $5. When I look at the Oil data we are above lastyear on evry product except Distillites, this means diddly squat since distillites always lags into fall before switching.

Just your neighborhood contrarian looking for an angle.

Good luck all!

>>>my bet is yes<<<

As you know, you have Paul Volcker and a bunch of other heavy-weights on your side. Bush/Greenspan has prepped the United States for a South American-style economic decline.

<will it oneday crumble....my bet is yes>

When the US Dollar does crumble, and if it crumbles very badly, it will smash everything else except GOLD.

When will it happen?

It will take place when the US can no longer borrow.

It astonishes me how naive most Americans are. The day is coming when the US Treasury sets forth on one of its regular refundings - rolling over old debt and rolling into new debt as well as borrowing more - only to discover that there are no longer any of the foreign buyers there which they have taken for granted for so long.

China has clearly had enough and Greenspan has set off some alarm bells in Frankfurt last week.

No, I'm not saying this event takes place tomorrow or next week or even next month. But the handwriting is now on the wall and the odds of it taking place are quite high moving forward over the next 4 years.

The time to prepare was yesterday. But there is still some time left....

All I have is Time until I die.
