I don't recall what it was that killed them but it had to do with high water during a flood stirring something up.

The larvae can live in the water in a motor for over a week so they get moved into all the lakes when outboards go from lake to lake without flushing.

We just went through trying to teach Erin Big Dog about property rights again. lol. We have company, a nice couple from Oklahoma. And Erin got out and took off. The first time she has gotten to roam in months. She just really doesn't understand this or people coming over and yelling at us about our dog using their yard. Now to me it makes sense that she'd rather use their yard. She likes a clean place to sleep, yes?
