that would just incent al quaeda to use one if they have one. I dont get how you make the connection from an al quaeda attack to attacking iran who at this point has no connection to wmds obtained by al quaeda. Seems to me Saudi Arabia and Pakistan would be far more likely to be guility of complicity. Thats gets back to my question of weeks ago--would subbing mecca for tehran deter bin laden, assuming he is really a devout muslim. No one would reply on whether this would deter bin laden or not. I dont have a clue. mike

My thought is to let the Mullahs know that any attack by Al Quaeda or one of its associated groups that using a nuke on US soil will be treated as an attack by Iran on US soil....and full retaliation will follow......I would provide the Iranian with 48 hours notice to evacuate Teheran and then reduce Teheran to a large, smoking crater.....let the Iranians ponder the glowing crater and decide if they'd like to continue sponsoring that kind of terror......there are over 350 possible sites of nuke activity in Iran .....they learned from the Israeli attack on iraq's nuke plant..... First, your thought is based upon the notion the Mullahs and leadership of Al Quaeda are rational and reasonable. Second, the loss of American civilian life is unacceptable. America and Israel must give no quarter and strike before the nuclear WMDs are assembled.
