I did not see anything about who may have researched or written the report under their aegis. If you have that information, I would be interested. Second, they are supposed to advise on technical issues. That is their expertise. I am sure that, as intelligent laymen, they have interesting opinions on the Middle East. Perhaps they could join us on FADG. Third, I have no idea how the advisory board came into being, whether it originated in Carter or some other era, how it determines what to comment on, and so forth, so I can read nothing into its relationship with the current administration.
