Look. It's pretty simple folks. Bush layed it all out for you in his first term. Iraq, Iran, and North Korea were said to be the biggest threats to U.S. security. We destroyed one. And it turned out to be anything but a threat, didn't it. So why are you still bragging about one of the big blue ribbon screw ups in American history? The first and primary point is if the US is going to be the police force of the world. You obviously believe we should be, but you are about to get slapped in the face with an economic crisis, as well as a political crisis. Frankly, we can't sustain this crap on a political or a finacial basis. Look at the dollar... we're approaching third world status. I know you red voters love war, and you think the US is omnipresent and invincible. But at some point you have to understand that our influence is limited... we are losing one war, and if some SOB happens to attack us somewhere else we are in deep shit. We can't respond. We can't do your other wars, we don't have the money or the human resources. Wake up, it's pretty basic. The economic and political damage to this country from Iraq is hard to calculate. But what really pisses me off is the way you folks don't care about the human damage. >11,000 casualties on our side, 50K to 100K on their side. Bodies blown to bits. You probably live in some comfortable suburb or city condo and worry about tomorrow's weather. While the Iraqi civilians worry how they can get a haircut without getting killed, and the US soldiers wonder how they can survive today. All this, for nothing. Except oil, or a Bush family vendetta. You are a piece of shit for supporting this war, this President. You are responsible for the dead US kids and the dead Iraqi's. You better be fucking damn sure that when a US kid dies in Iraq that you know you are fucking right about your new fucking world order, with the US as the COP of the world. Because the blood is on your hands... remember that, everytime you hear about another kid dying in Iraq, you SOB. John
