And I used to think you were an intelligent human being.

Really?

But then why is it that the Middle Easterners always blame the U.S. for everything? Could it be that the Muslims are deflecting the blame from themselves and their own despotic governments?

Clinton's was an honest try, but Arafat scuttled that and launched the most destructive campaign of terror the region has every seen. And the child of that unholy beginning was modern terrorism as we know it.

What we're seeing now are Muslims once again blaming the U.S. for their barbarity and the rage they feel. The U.S. is always to blame in their minds. It's never themselves. And the truth is that until they acknowledge that their culture is corrupt and bankrupt, they will never move forward as a society.

Even if they were to be successful in destroying the U.S., they will still be left with ashes in their mouth, because they will still be ruled by tyrants and wear around their necks the albatross of a 7th century religion with 7th century laws, and little to no freedom of thought or the ability to recapture the glory days of the Caliphate. To ever rise to that level of achievement again, they have to face their own demons and stop blaming the U.S.

In the mean time, if they persist in making the U.S. their enemy, then they are in for another very rough 50 years, because the U.S. is not going to be defeated by anything short of a nuclear holocaust. And if that was launched by a Middle Eastern country, then you can be sure that country would be a glittering landscape of glass after our own retaliation.
