I have literally hundreds of genuine examples, including
studies performed by non-partisan groups. It is a well
documented fact that the MSM is liberally biased.

Here is a small sample I was able to slap together for you.......

The subject is the election, but she wants first to ask about the media coverage, and brings up the CMPA study which found that Kerry received coverage almost twice as positive as the President. (She actually understated it. Kerry actually recieved the most positive coverage ever,(well, since they began tracking) while the President received the most negative coverage since Ronald Reagan.) (Fox, by the way, was different only in that it was highly negative towards Kerry. It was also negative in its coverage of the President. That's covered in CMPA's press release.)

INSTAPUNDIT - UPDATE: A journalist reader emails:

In case you're curious, journalists at the major metropolitan newspaper where I work in the Midwest (except for the silent, tiny minority) are giddily confident of a Kerry victory, based on "their faith in the American people" and "everything we've tried to do." The city they cover straddles two red states that went Bush in 2000 and will do the same in 2004.

"Everything we've tried to do." Indeed.

Re: More folks should be forced to watch Frontline

Hmmm, your Google affinity charts were fascinating, but that isn't the real story.

What Google does to "manufacture consent" is overt.

The powers behind the Frontline editorial board are far more subtle.

Notice please that Frontline fired Lowell Bergmann. Notice please that Frontline is the "great White hope" that many of us subscribers to Ramparts, the I.F. Stone Weekly and other honest publications hoped would be PBS's answer to getting the truth out to the American public on a much larger stage.

To say that the suppression of progressive viewpoints is the agenda among the current executive managers would be obvious to the cognoscenti. But it is not obvious to the generations who have come after "The Masses" among other publications.

As we have devolved into a TV driven society, our political conversation has been channeled, diverted and subverted by a handful of rich oligarchs who are more determined than we democrats in the quest to diminish the capacity of the American public to engage in intellectual realism, and to diminish the breadth of viewpoints that formerly were available to the general public.

Thus we have among us a narcissistic, superstitious audience being created which is ever more fair game for the oligopolists who would destroy the American middle class for the sake of a fast buck.

Is Google honest? Obviously not. Time for us to move on.

Re: There is no reason for Google not to return these images. It may not be evidence of intentional bias,

But it certainly is provocative evidence of censorship, wouldn't you agree?
