Clapper, The deer are smart, we see a lot more of them closer to town during the hunting season...kain't shoot in town..durn it!..I think they may know that. And I'm gonna be playing the new Sox DVD at the NNBM Bar. I get a tear in my eye and yell and scream every time I play it. We'll have to strap you to the bar stool and get the ear plugs for ya. It's hard to judge what Pedro is doing...the money is more of an index for him on how he compares to other players...I'd like to think he'd take the 3 year deal in Boston, but I would bet he ends up with the Mets. Theo Epstein is playing it just right...if he gets Pedro, fine...if he doesn't, it opens up the salary cap big time and he can go after a big lefty...it's a win-win. Veriteck is the only one I'm worried about. Pats in Cleveland this weekend...they will dismantle them despite all the humble hype coming from Foxboro. The Celtics are losing a lot of close games...I don't know enough about the game to tell you why. The Bruins are still undefeated and un-scored on. I've started turning on local college hockey and have been to a few games too. Wind has died down here....big blow yesterday. Altair19
