I'm too young for Reagan 1 or Nixon. My first vote was in 1984 and I voted for Reagan.

88 Then Bush

92 Then Bush

96 Then.....damn I couldn't vote for dole so I didn't vote

00 Then McCain in the primaries

00 Then Bush

04 Then Bush

I've voted for Feingold as well as a couple other local democrats. But I've been a republican voter for president since college. I grew up in a GM town and I remember the late 70's like they were yesterday. Man that was an ugly time. The economy was bad, we were still reliving Vietnam and we had no pride as a country. I was the Alex P. Keaton at my school and honestly liked Bush better in 1979. But when the chips were down and Reagan won he won my heart. He brought back a pride in America that I hadn't seen in a long time. Just as many people during FDR's presidency, I became fiercely loyal to a party because of a Man that I watched turn things around. Reagan was like the grandpa I didn't have. Actually I had a Grandpa but he died in my bathroom so I don't like to think about it <g>
