And I am just pointing out that "tradition" is very self-serving when it comes to how Christ is presented. He was NOT a king. He was as far from a king as it is possible to be. That is important because it is part the entire point of his existence. He wanted people to treat each other well regardless of the fact that they were humble and at the bottom of the social order, regardless of the fact that they did not belong to each other's tribe, not even to the same nation, certainly not to the same religion.
