I would not be unhappy to see home prices go back to where they were in June 2001- and not just cause I closed escrow in Feb 2001. Heck, I woulda been happy to sell my home after 30 years for what I can sell it for now. This housing bubble has split apart families and sent them far and wide to the boonies. Think about it, it'll just about take YOU croaking before your son or daughter will be able to live in a house in the same town as you. For this reason, I absolutely detest real estate speculators. I mean if you wanna speculate go buy some Tasr or Tzoo or somethin'- don't mess with somebody's future home!( New home flippers, there's a special place in my hell for you!)
