Just keep in mind that unemployment for Swiss nationals is currently only 3%.

When the rise of the Swiss Franc causes Swiss unemployment to rise to the same horrific levels we currently experience in the U.S. -

- well then I might start to get a little concerned.

We all know that the U.S. is a total basket case with our unemployment rate at an eye-popping 5.4% -- which, using the same standards as Swiss reporting, is probably closer to 7.2%. All of our major cities filled with hordes of people standing in soup lines, bankers jumping out of their office windows. Oops that was a film from 1932. Maybe Switzerland won't melt down if they reach 5% unemployment after all.
