Funny you should mention Bogey. I have always thought of McQueen as the 60/70's Bogey. Coolest guy who ever lived. Bullitt lauched 1000 films in that genre.

Silly Navy killed him by having him remove Asbestos covered pipes without a respirator. Gone long before his time.

It's out on DVD now, I oughta put it on my list on Netflix. Mebbee after I watch all of last year's "24" episodes....

Bullitt is well-worth revisiting from time to time, too....
