Keep in mind that with 100 - 200 participants, each of whom can have private emails, phone conversations and private chats right in the AP chatroom, one can't assume that what one person was told was told to every person.

Terrell got busted because he sent money to Cleveland - obviously if that was to pay for information then that information was not widely dispersed.

Actually, you left out the more interesting aspects of the testimony.

Terrell told jurors that he received inside information from Derrick Cleveland, another defendant in the case who pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit securities fraud, and from Elgindy's private investment Web site.

I'm sure if poor Mr. Cleveland were out here, he'd be saying that the information was easily obtained from the web or available from ethereal sources.

As for coaching, everyone who testifies, including the defendant, will have been "coached."

Sheeple may not necessarily trade as directed by the shepherd. But they were counted on to back up the guru, posting in concert, often with CAPS, bold or with arrows =========>all to support possible coordinated attacks, that were started perhaps with tained information.

As I posted before, one can always say, "t'aint me," "I don't need no stinkin' insider info," "I'm too smart to be a sheeple." or "it's a shell game."
