Another interesting point raised in the article is that the author claims that the towers collapsed at exactly the rate that a heavy object would fall through the air from 1,300 feet as a result of the force of gravity (8 seconds). If this claim is in fact true, then it is very odd. The resistence caused by the crumbling building infrastructure would surely slow down the collapse of the building well beyond the time gravity could pull something down from the same distance. If this claim is true, then it does point to explosives being used to bring the buildings down.

It would be interesting to compare the collapse of WTC-1, WTC-2 and WTC-7. We all know WTC-7 was almost certainly brought down by detonations. If the buildings fell in the same time frame and manner, the similiarities would be noteworthy.

Re: That's what I've been bleating about but no-one hears me.

Pouting is not allowed today. Shall we revisit Jim Hoffman's work on the energy calculus of the WTC Tower collapses? Here's a way that at least we can all hear the same theory, if not exactly your theory:

kpfa.org

The show date is September 29. Hoffman says some things here that don't make a lot of sense to me. In fact some of his speculation is down-right crackpot. But the basic thrust of his analysis is generally headed in the right direction. A direction which the Kean-Zelikow Commission Report criminally neglects.

You might find some of the more recent shows to be of interest as well. I'm keen on listening to the theories on what really happened in Madrid. (The latest show) I still think that we do not have reason to fully exonerate the right wing (Spanish, Israeli or American) from involvement in this tragic attack on average citizens.
