Well, Jlallen, how did you like Rumsfeld's reply to the soldier's concern. It was as if a company that failed to provide hardhats to its employees working on a high-rise constructions site told them not to worry because they could also die from a fall. I wonder how many men and women killed because of poorly armored Humvees in Iraq had, as a last thought; "who needs armor, that armor wouldn't protect me from an ied?" Let's just load all the "bring em on" and "it wouldn't protect them from an ied" crowd onto an unarmored humvee on the streets of Baghdad and see whether they then clearly see the need to FIX THAT FREAKING PROBLEM NOW.
