wow, that sounds like a pretty good price for that kind of rock. And the sinuous path sounds much funner and no tempting fate. I so love playing with rock. The folks at the old place said I could come back and get rocks. I'm elated. I miss my rocks. I might need to do them a new rock walk or wall or garden edge to ease my guilt (uhm am hoping they LET me do it lol), but it will be worth it.
Some of the rocks are from piles I found in the woods where they'd been left decades ago when fields had been cleared. They'd take the rocks and pile them up. So I knew some of the piles I found were left by my grandfather.
