Yes, we're talking abut the same two things. <g>

Bans: The ban lists are public, so it's not revealing anything to you except a concise list of something that is already public.

Ignores: Nobody knows that someone has them on ignore unless the Ignorer either tells Ignored, or (pending feature) the Ignored is blocked when attempting to send a PM to the Ignorer. *

Therefore, providing you a list of the users who have you on ignore would be, in a sense, violating the privacy of the Ignorer.

Would it be appropriate to show you someone's SubjectMarks? Or their PeopleMarks? I think you'd agree that those are private, as is the list of persons they choose to ignore.

* Of course, neither is conclusive. Someone could tell you they are ignoring you, but that doesn't mean they are. Likewise, a blocked PM could mean they are (pending feature) blocking all PMs. That will depend on how Bob designs the "you can't do that" message.
