JF, So it's pure debt. Might even bankrupt the SS system (in fact many believe that's what he ultimately wants).

SS is already headed towards bankruptcy if it continues on its course. The only question is when.

As for those who think Bush wants to speed up the demise of SS, these are the very people who make the search for a solution tough.

They were talking about the $1Trillion to $2Trillion transition costs for private accounts. Remember, Bush promised he wouldn't cut SS benefits.

What's so sad about this is that the Left is so ignorant of this subject, once Bush gets it straightened out, they'll never know the disaster he avoided.

Your remarks indicate you haven't the slightest concept of the problems SS faces.
