Gold has done well for me... Chinese love gold and they aren't going to be happy to stuff their mattresses with Euros for long. But gold is an emotional asset and all those stress puppies are going to want it as the US dollar continues to slide. The $10 Billion a month going to Iraq sort of guarantees that... who's going to buy all that 3% T-bill paper? The Chinese? They've got more than they want.

Uranium still has a major image problem (how are those Indians that used to mine the stuff?)

Finding it is only half the battle. If you adjust for the true price of commodities the raw material industry isn't too bad.
