Retail could be a great short. Everything is indicating that sales are not as robust as last year. My informal lunchtime check of the lines at Best Buy would indicate that sales are slower this year. I do not know if consumer spending or the transports will be the leading indicator. Right now the inventory is filled to meet expected Xmas demand. I would not think the transports would be showing signs of a consumer slowdown at this point, but to be clear, I really do not know. GT TH
