Ah, didn't realise they had an email list .... i don't give out my email, it's useless anyway due to profusion of spam We just had a nicaragüense at the door, with his son and very blond wife - testigos de Jehová, happens many a saturday, very organised people, they cleverly send the spanish speakers here ... are you working your way north by highway? ... some friends are driving south in spurts, they should be crossing into Guatemala today or tomorrow, headed for Costa Rica Does the project as currently planned still involve hoovering up the whole riverbed, deepening the channel, and selling construction aggregate, i wonder .... if el gobierno local has any nearby highway construction planned, it would mesh nicely with a cleanup/placer operation, just needs a screen plant, crusher, few trucks, 980 loader .... it could be done relatively low-budget, with positive cash flow from early on This thread is eight years old now, and the Cadre-Caroni project over ten [if memory serves, it was 1994, right?] ... well, better late than never, lol
