A man who is facing like 40 years supposedly uses his daily jail call to contact you... If you were on trial facing "like 40 years" in jail, and people who purport to know you or claim to have strong evidence against you are posting on a thread that you are pretty darn sure the prosecution is reading daily for tidbits that might bolster their case against you, would you not take more than a passing interest in that? I think I can speak for others that my hope is that Elgindy gets nothing less than a fair trial. If it seems like many of us are constantly defending him it's because others have marginalized the discussion to terrorism charges that are not even on the docket! - Jeff
