Perhaps it was meant in jest, but I feel that your post is one of the nastier, uglier posts I've read here. It IS, however, demonstrative of the deep-seated arrogance and intense feelings of moral superiority and infallibility that blind so many on the left (including a couple I can think of right here on this thread) to the reasons for their party's failures. The idea that you would hope for the country to "nosedive" so that people would "turn on" each other and your party could seize power again is just disgusting. But then, that's not an unusual attitude for people from your party either, is it? Do you really think it's possible, in a democratic nation like America where public support is necessary, to gain the support of people for whom your contempt is shouted from the roof tops? Perhaps that's not what you had in mind - perhaps you'd prefer to just "barbeque" all the "country inbred folks" and be done with it? A little ethic cleansing, you might say, to make way for your "utopia"?

So you would like the country to nose dive so that people will commit violence against us inbreds and so that you can reclaim the power you think you deserve? That's really kind of twisted to wish that much ill will on a nation just to get back in power IMO.
