Hitler appealed to people angry and bitter over the war and the Versailles treaty and the terrible economic problems, not "frightened people".

Re. letting an event like 9/11 "change everything", a previous generation let an event like Pearl Harbor "change everything". Did they thereby "allow fascism to enter" the country as you say about 9/11? I think it would be ridiculous to say so.

You may think that we should ignore 911, but you have no grounds to call fascist those who disagree.

While Bush isn't Hitler, Bush's propaganda is the same sort of stuff as Hitler's.

Howler.

Where you let fear run your life, where you let an event like 9/11 "change everything" for you- you allow fascism to enter, and it enters using the pleasing face of being the protector who will guard you from that which you fear.

Stop. You're killing me.

Time to try out for a comic role.
