yes, there are plenty of fundamental warning bells coming from the builders in most of the quarterly reports, but some of them are outputting great reports. that gets the shorts covering, and that really puts them in outpace-mode. there can be no doubt that we are in the short-squeeze mode in many, if not all, the home builders. those that are 30% short are really moving up the past couple of months. surprise surprise. it's news event driven/press release driven lately.
