But it got no news coverage for several weeks, if you are just counting the MSM. Its initial coverage was on Rush and cable. It grew because the Swiftvets' story was plausible and solid and Kerry had made Vietnam the cornerstone of his campaign, so the story that most of his "Band of Brothers" couldn't stand him had 'legs'.

The lesson that Cahill et al. should take away is that they can no longer count on the MSM to bury a story that cable or radio or blogdom wants to be heard.
