Pretty nice move on energy split. Thanks for the information on this bought at $11.65.
Canadian oil sands is doing pretty good these days. I was looking at the graph on the cos.un website seems over 90 % of the expansion should be finished by September. There need for capital should therefore be a lot lower by the third quarter of 2005

In Canada and Europe the city centre is where the action and the money and the jobs are. I understand that it is often the opposite in the US where "downtown" is a slum and the jobs and money are all in the suburbs. Since activities in the city centre save energy, investment in city centre real estate of Canada and Europe should be profitable over the years. In this connection I don't know where REI-UN.TO and Calloway have most of their shopping centres. High energy costs will doom suburbia. JMHO.

"""we are going to have to completely re-invent the way in which we live.""
I agree completely, but, the evidence is that the vast majority of people will not, and do not make changes in their day to day lives.. unless they are forced by economics or by governments to change.

Several months ago i posted on the environmental thread that I had installed a 3 litre flush Caroma toilet..here.
caromatoilets.com

I would bet, that not one person made the move..even though the evidence is that it is the right thing to do... water, and the control of it, is becoming a large global issue.
