That article didn't mention Habeckers political affiliation, did it? I certainly have to believe that many of those of us on the right agree the words "under god" should not have been added to a preachers creation long after he was dead. Being a preacher who managed to avoid the words, the odds seem strong even the creator of the pledge would agree "under god" isn't appropriate. I've mentioned it before, but being born in '54, I myself learned the pledge the "old" way prior to attending school, and at first often left out "under god," but soon fell into step(like I cared?).
