Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore praised McKathen and said calling the Ten Commandments "a distraction" is ridiculous.

No I didn't see it.

He may be making a statement but I think being a judge is not supposed to be about making a statement. I don't think there is anything unconstitutional or illegal about wearing the robe, but what is the need to wear it?

Do you know what the case is about? If it touched in any way on church and state issues the judge would be showing bias.
