I hear you, but it is a sad reflection of our society when people feel that surgery is the only way out of their lack of self-esteem. Our culture is ailing for sure.

Ted, I don't think the Chinese are any worse than what's going on in this country. I don't know how to explain it. All I can say is that I feel it is worse among Asian cultures. At least here there is an effort to tell girls and young women that they don't need plastic surgery to be beautiful. Over there, it's like, "You're ugly. Either do something about it or get over it." Of course, Asian cultures are much more manic depressive than Western cultures, so maybe this is just a generational phase. Tenchusatsu
