Those are pretty broad statements GST.

Why would you say that,

"Bush is not promoting the cause of peace, security and democracy outside the US.

It appears that he is promoting democratic elections in Iraq and Afghanistan... his hope would be that this will lead to greater security in the world. Regarding peace that is a deeper topic.
