Well, I did my best to help out you SNDK'rs....I am not in this now..was a few years ago and still keep an eye on it....anyway....just bought 2 new digital camera's and loaded up on quite a few very high MB memory cards, since one camera is 6.1 megapixels and one is 10...need lots of memory....also bought 4 sndk MP3 players as gifts, as they all had very good ratings, great features and excellent prices...of course, I got all 4 thru some re-seller at amazon, since they were 50% less then best buy, circuit city, wallmart and etc......But, I am very happy with them...brand new...ordered and arrived within 2 days with standard shipping of about $5...absolutely identical to the ones in the retail stores, except for the price <g>.....and like I said...opened one and have been playing with it...very nice for the money....I got 2 256mb and 2 512mb.....both are excellent and great buys if you get them online, rather then a retail store....I did buy all my memory cards for the cameras at best buy, though......good luck and happy holidays.....

I still take anything analysts say with a grain of salt.

I take any investment opinion with more than a grain of salt, including those I read on this board. We all have our biases and conflicts. The ML analyst may be a genius or he may be a fool, I can't tell but IMO, he looked at the right things in his 11 page report. He attempted a supply/demand analysis and gave this conclusion:

"Our positive stance is based on our belief that newcomers are achieving little success in ramping production, and that the majority of the new capacity from incumbents won't be up and running until late 2005 at the earliest. As such, we expect pricing to return to normal trend in 2005, declining approximately 40% year-over-year. We further believe that new demand from cellular handsets could create a shortage in 2006."

I appreciate this type of analysis, it adds to the discussion. Opinions on stock price mean nothing to me because I make my own.
