OCD on SI
or
The Securities Industry

You have actually jumped to the conclusion that the charges are proven, then you have moved on that same conclusion to convict others not even charged.
You would make a good witness for McCarthy.
Anthony@Pacific is going to be settled by a jury, Anthony@Pacific on SI is going to be decided here.
Your posture does little to make the reader invest any energy in any outcome.
The reader will decide if Anthony is worse than the poor NSOL company or better than the poor NSOL company. The focus on the poor NSOL company is not good for the courts, if they had a few NSOL's, one less mobster and one less dead doctor, they would have a strong case, the jury would have an easy time of it.
Anthony is claiming that he is a reformed bad guy, the courts are out to prove that he subverted the FBI and extorted stock from NSOL. No matter what the courts decide the readers on SI have a far easier time of it. Perhaps you should consider what the readers think of companies like NSOL ?
People enjoy black knights, Anthony had a history when he came to SI, he had already run afoul of several disciplinary bodies. He remains a black knight in many readers minds, out to enrich himself and his camp at the expense of criminal stock operators. The readers who support Anthony have to fully consider the implications of his actions in light of his long held stance on SI, why did coverage get dropped on NSOL ?

I have been posting here with any outcome in mind. I never made any secret of the fact that I liked Anthony and thought his work was good. The benefit to the small investor was obvious, despite Anthony's background.
The charges don't detract from his ability to make calls but the fact that coverage was dropped on NSOL certainly does, if a criminal stock operator can escape the "mace" by forking over the dough, all benefit to the small investor disappears.

On SI this is the crux of the issue, at least for me and my OCD. Government paint doesn't seem to stick on SI, it means as much as a fake doctorate. We will always have networks of traders on SI, some cleaner than others. We will have bulls, bears, promoters, hypesters, bashers, bozos, investors and readers. We will willingly tolerate black, disbelieve in white and use gray whenever necessary, it is our money. All of these colours make sense, it depends upon the day and the play. It is our stance over the 'years' that demands the greatest attention, this is my opinion.
