In part I would say its because its now been 3 plus years since 9/11. I would also add that our proactive stand on terrorism and resulting military action has reduced the organization of terror groups to the extent that the threat is reduced. Not gone but reduced

Are you suggesting a more sinister, conspiracy theory, type of thing?
