I hadn't realized before that older, higher in rank and more career-oriented military personnel are more liable to be against the Iraq war than are the military as a whole.

Speaking of military votes: Rossi and GOP demand answers to questions Today, our lead election and recount observer in King County and one of our attorneys briefed the press on the problems they saw in King County during the election and recount. So far the questions we have for King County have gone unanswered. We are now demanding that the County turn over information including a list of names that voted in the election, indication of those ballots that were rejected and accepted, and information regarding the issuance and processing of military ballots. This is one of many steps in the process, which under state law could begin only after recounting was completed but before the election is certified. Rest assured that we will continue as we have from the beginning to take every action necessary to protect the legitimate election of Dino Rossi. wsrp.org
