I argue that most people want to be free, and therefore that what they may say when in fear of their lives under a dictatorship is meaningless, and their "true will" should be honored. Thus, if we liberate the Iraqis, it is with inferred consent, and thus cannot be unilateral. Indeed, polls showed that most Iraqis thought the overthrow of Saddam was a good thing.
