Cudos to you MQ (and I dont doubt your claim) but at that time even the UN and the French believed WMDs would be found. So if all the worlds intel agencies were duped by saddam, the nations had to make their decision based on that data. US said act, France and the UN urged more caution. IF there were wmds as we believed, I think what we did would have made more sense that it now appears. In retrospect, I could not support this action knowing what i know now. Failure of intel and then failure in ops leading to this current mess. mike
