<<I got a question: Koresh KNEW the Feds had search and arrest warrants. How long is he allowed to engage in an armed stand-off before there are consequences? The Feds didn't exactly go charging in there before the ink was dry on the warrants.>>

They could have gotten him in the way into town. He invited the Texas Rangers to come in and look around. Lloyd Bentsen wanted to be tough while going out.

Was it ever proved that he had arsenals ?

Sometimes fear of what MAY happen prompts actions which later in retrospect would have best been explored further and dealt with differently. We sometimes rush to judgment and later pay the price for having been rash,impulsive...??

I think Koresh was a child abusing whacko that needed to be sent to prison so that some inmate could make him his boy toy for the next 15 years.

With that said I think the Fed hosed up in a huge way. Very similar to the Randy Weaver debacle IMO. Trumped up gun charge and then rather then arrest them in town when they could have easily done it they come charging to the home front. They paid a pretty big settlement in the Weaver case and I'm a little surprised they didn't here also.
