Gonzales doesn't bother me. What does bother me is that the US stopped making Congressional Declarations of War after WWII.

You are reading the democrat pundits SLANT on things. There have been several legal scholars on FOX the past few days and all of them have said Gonzales did NO SUCH THING. He merely tried to interpret a law already on the books and no where did he or anyone else suggest stuff such as has gone on at that prison in Iraq. Also, every one of those scholars agreed that the Geneva Conventions DO NOT apply to terrorists as they are STATELESS. jdn
