huge satisfaction from the sight of Palestinians exercising their democratic rights, Considering that the guy they're gonna vote for (one only real candidate allowed in a Pal election), Abbas, and the guy they'd prefer to vote for, Marwan Barghouti, are both compromised to hell by terror, I wouldn't rejoice too much over this election. Strictly done for show, though it's to be hoped that the voters can sneak a few threads of democracy into the game.
