Jay, on the same basis, it's only a matter of time before New Zealand is taken over by Australia. Which do you think will happen first; China takes over Taiwan or Australia takes over New Zealand? Yet it is not so long ago that New Zealand became independent. Or, you could argue similarly that the USA will take over both, AND Taiwan and maybe China too. It's all a matter of what people think is a good idea on the day. For some reason, New Zealanders and Australians don't have the same fratricidal motivations as the Chinese clones,and don't wish to take each other over. There's no "order of battle" between Oz and NZ. I wonder if you wonder why China would want to have such a war resulting in many dead, more than likely, not to mention lots of destruction. Possibly including renovation of the Three Gorges Dam according to rumour, which would be a BIG problem. It seems that Chinese are just fratricidally vicious. We Aussies and Kiwis are mates. It's much better. They should try it in China. Mqurice
