My GPA is 3.8 out of a possible 4.0. To call me ignorant is, to put it mildly, off the mark.

Ok, you're banned from 23 threads on SI, so what is the problem? You're smarter than everyone else?

The Swedish example is silly. If you were close to retirement you'd be invested in very conservative funds like FFFAX. If you had a 30 year career ahead of you, you'd be invested in riskier funds like FFFX.

You spend more time denying undeniable facts such as 2042-2052 is the range of time all actuaries give the SS trust fund before it is bankrupt.

As far as your 60 credits, I applaud you. I hope in the next 60 credits they teach you Finance and Accounting, because those are the basic math courses you will need to get comfortable with, so that you understand that when you have a system that pays out more than it bring in, its reserves will eventually be depleted. To deny that is similar to the Muslims saying the tsunami was caused by U.S. or Israeli nuclear testing. It's laughable.
